Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American journalist on the radio who was previously an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior associate with the Hudson Institute. It is an think tank for conservatives.
Prior to becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy under the Trump administration, between March and October 2018. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
